Passion Fruit Spritz

The Passion Fruit Spritz is the perfect drink to celebrate the start of summer: refreshing, fizzy and with a sweet-sour tropical taste that complements the Aperol. Last but not least, its bright color shouts summer, sun, energy and fun!

Ingredients

  • 10 fl oz Prosecco
  • 5 fl oz Aperol
  • 5 fl oz Passion Fruit Pulp (see notes)
  • 2.5 fl oz sparkling water
  • 2 slices orange
  • 10 cubes ice

Instructions

  • First, scoop out the pulp from the passion fruit, put it in a blender and add the Aperol. Blend this mix until smooth.
  • Put the ice cubes in a large red wine glass.
  • Over ice cubes, pour the Prosecco, followed by the Aperol and Passion Fruit Mix. Top with sparkling water.
  • Stir well and garnish with a slice of orange.

Notes

  • Fresh passion fruit is preferable, but if you can’t find it then you can use packaged passion fruit juice.
